Welcome to The KeyChurch Website!

I am Pastor Jacquie Babb.  I am the senior pastor of Keystone Church and Ministries.  I work along with my husband, Perry Babb, to bring the life and reality of the relationship with Jesus Christ into every day life.  We are very practical in our approach to the Gospel.   We believe that the principles of the Kingdom of God are as relevant as they were in biblical times and they come alive when applied today. The Bible is like an ‘owner’s manual’ that helps people navigate through life toward  their fullest potential.  It promotes healthy mindsets and gives answers to problems that we all encounter during our lifetime.

KeyChurch's 9/11 Community Memorial Service

Sept. 12, 2011 By Pastor Jacque Babb, a Pastor of Keystone Church

It was our privilege to host a 10th anniversary Community 9/11 Memorial Service.
In the days leading up to the service as we prepared slides and the music, we were struck again by the evil that would motivate people to execute such a thing against innocent people.
The message to our country was that being American made us a target even on our own shores.  We got down on our knees that day and reminded ourselves what we stand for and where life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness truly comes from.  That these things are inalienable rights granted to us by our Maker.
We were proud to put together a distinguished line up of speakers for the service that represented a variety of perspectives.  Rabbi David Ostrich, Rep. Glenn Thompson, Ap. Perry Babb spoke on the topics of "The Day, The Decade and The Future".

For I know the thoughts that I have for you

Sept. 12, 2011- Excerpts from Pastor Perry Babb's remarks on 9/11 Community Memorial Service-

Jacque and I have had the privilege to work in probably a dozen different countries and travel in several others through Global Strategic Alliance.  And each time that we would go whether it’s Belize or Bosnia or Romania or China we would come back and we would say “Lord, if we could just get everybody in America on an airplane and take them to Belize for just 20 minutes… “  There wouldn’t be any complaining in line at Walmart anymore.  Jacque used to say to everybody that I always took her to these exotic places.   The only problem was these exotic places had machine gun bullet holes in the walls.  It was some disaster, manmade or natural that we were there for.  But it has caused me to have an appreciation for America I think that’s based in reality.  It’s based in traveling other places and seeing other places.  And coming to appreciate how blessed we are.

I have to admit to you that in preparing for this service and particularly in watching videos and so many images and slides and pictures that were selected, and even media presentations on TV the last few days,  it’s brought back all of those emotions and I’ll tell you, it made me feel two things. Let me be honest with you.

A Recipe for Stability

Aug. 29, 2011 By Pastor Jacque Babb, a Pastor of Keystone Church

Read through these scriptures closely and see how stability, peace and success are achieved.  That's how you make Jesus your Lord! In the world, but not influenced by the world.
1.  Psa. 1:1 Blessed (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.

Keep your mind renewed.  Rom. 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

2.  Psa. 1:2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.

A Wife who is a Crown to her Husband

Aug. 22, 2011 By N.K. - A Wife & Mother

It has been nine years since my husband and I got married and it has been quite a journey. When I met Michael I was separated from my first husband and in the process of getting divorced. Neither Michael nor I were walking with the Lord at that time in our lives so we did not seek or involve God in any of the decisions we made. After living together for a year and a half we found ourselves to be pregnant and decided to get married. Our marriage started out with lots of unmet expectations that were not communicated between us. What I did not realize at the time was that many of my expectations were unrealistic, though I believed they weren’t. Let’s just say he never seemed to meet my standards as a husband and I was either disappointed by him or angry with him all the time.

On top of that our first child was a super fussy baby that cried half the time and needed to be nursed every two hours day and night. I was so stressed, exhausted, and unhappy with my life.

A Child Like Faith

Aug. 15, 2011 By T.G. - A Mother & Teacher

Seventeen years ago at a Billy Graham Crusade, I asked the Lord into my heart and since that day there has never been a doubt in my mind of how good God is and how great is His love towards me. As a young teenager I spent most of my weekends with my moms best friend going into the inner city of Philadelphia, praying for people, working at soup kitchens, traveling around being a part of the March For Jesus.  There was a small group of us that danced to praise and worship music and would perform at all these different churches. It was during those times I felt the Holy Spirit, experienced His power, witnessed miracles, and knew that there was a great God who I wanted to serve.  I was like that for years, but as I got older it seemed as though I slowly distanced myself from those experiences, and those kinds of churches and in return my walk with the Lord became less and less a priority.

I remained a young girl who had strong morals, and tried to be a good leader, and make good choices,

Loving God and Loving People Makes a Difference

Aug. 1, 2011 By M.G. - MHS, PA-C

I have an amazing job!  I am a physician assistant (PA) at a family practice in Huntingdon.  I get one-on-one time with patients who are sick and hurting every day.  I only work 2-3 days a week, so my schedule allows me to stay in my field and still be with my kids, and more importantly, my boss has given me complete freedom to pray for my patients and minister to them in whatever way I think is appropriate.  I often pray for my patients on my way to work and also look for the right opportunities to pray for them directly.  The story below happened this summer and demonstrates that what you do today can make a difference in the lives' of people you may never know.

On my way to work one day, I started praying for an open door for God's presence to impact my patients that day.  I had a lady on my schedule whom I had seen only one other time.
